Basch, Johnson Join Kastner Westman & Wilkins as Associate Attorneys

Kastner Westman & Wilkins, LLC, a boutique labor and employment law firm representing management exclusively, strengthened its capabilities with the hiring of associate attorneys Katherine R. Basch and Karly B. Johnson.
Basch’s practice primarily focuses on wage and hour compliance, specifically advising, conducting internal audits and litigating. She most recently practiced at Brennan, Manna & Diamond in Akron.
The Akron native, who now resides in Sagamore Hills, is a 2012 cum laude graduate of the University of Akron School of Law. She also previously earned a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Ashland University.
Johnson is a December 2015 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Akron School of Law. She was just admitted to the practice of law after passing the February 2016 Ohio bar exam. Her practice will focus on defending employers in a wide array of employment litigation matters. She will also proactively counsel clients on the development of human resources policies and practices that help protect them from potential legal liability.
Johnson, a Canfield, Ohio native, previously earned a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Kent State University.
